Romney, Obama assure farmers they support renewable fuel standard

President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney don't agree on much, but they have found common ground on continuation of the Renewable Fuel Standard.

In election questionnaires submitted to the campaigns by the American Farm Bureau Federation, both major party presidential candidates endorsed the standard, which has come under criticism from the oil and gas industry.
