Romney energy attacks don't shrink Obama lead in Iowa, Wisconsin

New polling in Wisconsin and Iowa reveals that Mitt Romney's attacks on President Barack Obama's energy record have done little to turn those states in his favor.

Surveys by the NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist Poll released late Thursday found Obama ahead among likely voters 51 percent to 43 percent in Iowa. In Wisconsin the margin was 51 percent to 45 percent.
