Obama seeks to grow energy partnership with Brazil

President Barack Obama meets Monday with Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff to discuss expanded energy cooperation as the two countries seek to develop a partnership struck in March 2011.

The United States and Brazil, two of the world's biggest ethanol producers, are focusing on expanded ties for oil and gas exploration, advanced biofuels,  renewable energy, efficiency and nuclear power, officials said.
