Interior approves Delaware offshore wind energy lease

The Interior Department on Tuesday completed its first Atlantic Ocean offshore wind energy lease under its new targeted development program, a step that could help move NRG's Bluewater Wind project back on track.

NRG last December put the planned 450-megawatt project off the Delaware coast on hold while the company waited for the market to improve.
