GAO: More offshore spill response work needed

U.S. Congress

In a report requested by Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., and Rep. Edward Markey, D-Mass.,  the GAO said the department and industry have made significant progress in blowout response since the Deepwater Horizon explosion nearly two years ago.
