EPA: Water is safe in town in Pa. drilling region

DIMOCK, Pa. (AP) — Federal regulators say that they've completed tests on drinking water in the northeastern Pennsylvania village of Dimock (DIH'-muk), and that the water is safe to drink.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released a statement Wednesday saying no further action is necessary in Dimock. The agency also says there's no further need to provide residents with alternative supplies of drinking water.
